Our Happy Chic Home Furnishings and Accessories Company is seeking enthusiastic candidates for an internship in e-commerce. We will provide instruction on a broad range of hardware, software, and web-based technologies. You will bring an understanding of systems and graphic design software. Candidates should have a passion for e-commerce technologies, graphic design, and marketing. You must posess a desire to learn and to contribute.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in implementation of new enterprise technologies
• Assist in creating HTML/Photoshop based content for website and emails.
• Assist in creating flash based content for website and emails.
• Assist with a variety of research-oriented projects and help to maintain our online content
The ideal candidate will be a Junior or Senior in college with a strong technology background that includes programming, development and any knowledge of the components that comprise our systems including: Linux server, Windows server 2003/2008, HTML and graphic design/Photoshop (10/11) skills are a huge plus and X-Cart/Megento along with PHP, MYSQL (4/5) won’t hurt any.
This is is a great opportunity for self-starters interested in an e-commerce career and the complex work of transitioning to a new enterprise ecommerce system. Candidates MUST be eligible to receive school credit and work 15-20 hours per week out of our New York office.

Graphic/Product Design Internship Opportunities:
We are looking for talented and motivated students to intern in our Graphic Design and Product Design departments. Rising juniors and seniors preferred. Strong Illustrator and Photoshop skills are required.
School credit may be arranged based on the requirements of your school. Scheduling is flexible, however we prefer that interns are available a minimum of 20 hours per week.
