What LOOK were you going for?
I like to think of my style as shabby chic, meets traditional, meets contemporary, meets cottage with a hint of French country. As you can tell, I am ADD with defining my style because when I decorate I go for how the room makes me feel rather than making sure it fits into a consistent decorating style. The look I was going for was “does this room make me smile when I walk into it”.
What INSPIRED you to shop JA?
A few years ago I stayed at the Parker Hotel and I fell in love with the uniqueness of the place. Every room had its own element and I loved the thought behind all the detail. Aside from its uniqueness the place had a vibe that was incredibly welcoming and cozy. I have found that many places that try to create this type of unique decorating tend to lack the warmth. While I can appreciate a well designed room, lobby and restaurant; I want to stay at a place where I feel like I can curl up with my sweat pants on and at that same moment feel sophisticated; which is how Jonathon’s designs make me feel.
How are the REVIEWS from friends and family?
I have gotten great reviews from friends and family. When I entertain, I love seeing the smiles that my home brings to people. Decorating my home has inspired me to go back to school for interior design and finally pursue what I thought was just a hobby and try to make it a profession!

What a beautiful space. I love her pops of color! Good luck in school.
Are those doors displayed in the back? Very clever!
