Description

Organic Modernism.

An ebonized and limed oak cabinet perched on solid brass legs and featuring our signature Reform pattern, which originated as a relief texture sculpted in our Soho pottery studio. The design is carved onto wooden doors, and then clad in a single sheet of brass, which is hand-hammered and polished to perfection. The labor-intensive process takes eight to 12 hours per door.

Divine details—a slight bevel on the solid oak casing, a nifty float between the oak and the brass cabinet, and fab touch-latch closing mechanisms take our Reform Credenza to the absolute height of couture craftsmanship.

Inspired by the Brutalist architecture of modernist temples and churches from Le Corbusier's Ronchamp to Miami's Temple Israel to the Cathedral of Brasìlia.

Absolutely elevated the room

"The Reform cradenza looks handmaid and unique. It has elements of midcentury modern but also deco and everyone asks about it. It would be at home in Palm Springs or Palm Beach, and currently resides in San Francisco. The reflective surface also help spread a warm light across the room. Pricey but gorgeous!"

Thrilled

"I was going to have a custom built-in installed under my staircase, but realized that this was the absolutely perfect piece. I have admired it for years and finally pulled the trigger. I don’t know what it stopped to me before. I love it."

Beautiful Credenza!!

"When I saw this credenza in the San Francisco store I fell in love with it right away. It reminds me of Picasso's "Guernica". I had just bought a house and decided to splurge. It arrived damaged and unfortunately dealing with customer service is not ideal. It took multiple calls and a couple of months before they determined that indeed it was damaged and could not be repaired. While the credenza is beautiful, customer service is not so great — which surprised me because Jonathon Adler is supposed to be a high end company. All three pieces I bought were either damaged or poor quality for the price. Very disappointing."
