Sunbathers lounge on the white-painted terrace of Il Canille, built into the rocks of Pizzolungo overlooking the waters off the coast of the island of Capri, Italy, in August 1980. Il Canille is the villa owned by Italian tailor and fashion designer Umberto Tirelli (1928-1992).
Hand-selected from American photographer Slim Aarons' classic collection. Aarons is renowned for his evocative photographs of, as he described it, "attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places." Each image is printed from scans of the original negative then mounted on aluminum and faced with museum quality Plexiglas. Please allow approximately 3 to 5 weeks for delivery.
