Circa 1965—Freddie and Howard Cushing surfing with friends at Bailey's Beach (the Spouting Rock Beach Association) in Newport. Their father introduced the sport to the club in the 1930s.
Hand-selected from American photographer Slim Aarons' classic collection. Aarons is renowned for his evocative photographs of, as he described it, "attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places." Each image is printed from scans of the original negative then mounted on aluminum and faced with museum quality Plexiglas. Please allow approximately 3 to 5 weeks for delivery.
